People celebrate birthdays differently. Some people go all out for their birthday, whereas others don't even bothering reminding their friends and families about it. We get that it's just another day in the calendar year, but we're pretty extra about our own birthdays. After all, we feel lucky to be here, riding out the wild ride as life with our favorite people. Of course we would want to celebrate! While we understand that our significant others might not place as much value on their own birthdays, we would expect them to do something to celebrate ours since we place value on our own birthdays.
